Sticky Korean Chicken

A deliciously sticky and flavorful Korean chicken recipe that’s easy to make at home.

  • 2 pounds chicken thighs
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 cup green onions, sliced

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes.
  2. Place chicken thighs in a zip-top bag and pour marinade over them. Seal and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Arrange chicken on a baking sheet and bake for 30-35 minutes, basting with marinade halfway through.
  5. Remove from oven and garnish with green onions before serving.

Notes

  • For added flavor, marinate the chicken overnight.
