  • 4 pieces chicken thighs
  • 1 cup rice
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add onion and garlic, sauté until softened.
  3. Season chicken thighs with salt, pepper, and paprika; add to the skillet.
  4. Brown chicken on both sides.
  5. Stir in rice, then pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil.
  6. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer until rice is cooked and chicken is tender.
  7. Stir in heavy cream and frozen peas, cook for a few more minutes.
  8. Garnish with parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add cayenne pepper.
