  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake tin with cupcake liners.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Stir in the vanilla extract and milk until well combined.
  5. Fold in the dry ingredients until just incorporated.
  6. Fill each cupcake liner about 2/3 full with the batter.
  7. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let the cupcakes cool completely before frosting.
  9. For the frosting, beat together the cream cheese and caramel sauce until smooth.
  10. Frost the cooled cupcakes and drizzle with additional caramel sauce.
