Red Velvet Oreo Cheesecake

A decadent cheesecake that combines red velvet cake with Oreo cookies for a delightful dessert.

  • 1 cup crushed Oreo cookies
  • 2 cups cream cheese
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup red velvet cake mix
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine crushed Oreo cookies and melted butter, then press into the bottom of a springform pan.
  3. In another bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well.
  4. Stir in red velvet cake mix, sour cream, and vanilla extract until fully combined.
  5. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust in the springform pan.
  6. Bake for 55-60 minutes or until the center is set.
  7. Allow to cool, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
