- 4 cups apple cider
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 3 whole cloves
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 2 orange slices
- 1 lemon slice
- In a large pot, combine the apple cider and water.
- Add the brown sugar, cloves, cinnamon stick, nutmeg, orange slices, and lemon slice.
- Simmer over low heat for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Strain the mixture to remove the spices and slices.
