Philly Cheesesteak Stuffed Peppers

Delicious Philly cheesesteak stuffed peppers are a perfect family meal that combines the classic flavors of a Philly cheesesteak in a healthy and colorful bell pepper.

  • 4 large bell peppers
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 cup mushrooms, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup provolone cheese, shredded
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds and membranes.
  3. In a skillet, cook the ground beef with onions, mushrooms, and garlic until the meat is browned.
  4. Add Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper to the mixture and stir to combine.
  5. Stuff each bell pepper with the meat mixture and top with shredded provolone cheese.
  6. Place the stuffed peppers in a baking dish and cover with foil.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes, then remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and golden.
