  • 4 cups yellow squash, sliced
  • 1 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, sauté the onions and squash until soft.
  3. In a large bowl, mix the cooked squash and onions with cheese, milk, eggs, breadcrumbs, salt, and pepper.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
  5. Drizzle melted butter on top.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
