How to Make Chicken Alfredo

Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 ounces fettuccine pasta

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and cook the chicken breasts until no longer pink, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove and slice.
  3. In the same skillet, add the turkey bacon and cook until crispy. Remove and chop.
  4. Add heavy cream and garlic powder to the skillet. Stir until heated through.
  5. Incorporate Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and smooth.
  6. Add the cooked pasta, chicken, and bacon to the sauce, mixing until evenly coated.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.

Notes

  • You can substitute the turkey bacon with regular bacon if preferred.
  • For a lighter version, use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
