  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • 1 unbaked pie crust

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix the pumpkin puree, sugar, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and salt.
  3. Stir in the eggs and then gradually add the evaporated milk until smooth.
  4. Pour the filling into the unbaked pie crust.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes, then reduce the temperature to 350°F (175°C) and continue to bake for an additional 40-50 minutes.
  6. Check for doneness by inserting a knife into the center; it should come out clean.
  7. Let the pie cool before serving.
