  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pound Italian sausage, casings removed
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the Italian sausage and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
  3. Add the minced garlic and sun-dried tomatoes, cooking for another 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and combined.
  5. Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet, tossing to coat in the creamy sauce. Season with salt to taste.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil.
