- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1/2 cup sugar (for coating)
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon (for coating)
- In a large bowl, mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
- In another bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, and melted butter.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients until just combined.
- Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
- Using a cookie scoop, drop batter into the hot oil, frying until golden brown.
- Remove and drain on paper towels.
