- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup milk
- 3 large eggs
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp cream cheese, softened
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with liners.
- In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
- Add in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in the milk and then gradually add in the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt until just combined.
- Scoop the batter into the lined cupcake pan, filling each liner about 2/3 full.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- While the cupcakes are cooling, prepare the frosting by mixing the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
