  • 8 ounces semisweet chocolate, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, melt the butter and mix in the sugar until combined.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla.
  4. Combine flour, cocoa, and salt in another bowl; gradually mix into the wet ingredients.
  5. Spread batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  6. Let cool completely before layering with mousse.
  7. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream and powdered sugar until soft peaks form.
  8. Gently fold in the melted chocolate until fully incorporated.
