  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup cold butter, cubed
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 3/4 cup buttermilk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
  3. Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Gently fold in the blueberries.
  5. Add buttermilk and stir until just combined.
  6. Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead gently.
  7. Roll out to 1-inch thickness and cut out biscuits.
  8. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.

Notes

  • For a sweeter biscuit, add more sugar.
  • Frozen blueberries can also be used.
