  • 2 slices American cheese
  • 1/4 pound ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon chopped pickles
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon diced onions
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Instructions

  1. Cook the ground beef in a skillet until browned, adding the onions when nearly done.
  2. Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
  3. Place one slice of bread, buttered side down, in the skillet.
  4. Layer cheese, beef, pickles, ketchup, and mustard on the bread.
  5. Top with the second slice of bread, buttered side up.
  6. Cook until the bottom is golden brown, then flip carefully and cook the other side.
