  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix dry ingredients: flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine pumpkin puree, granulated sugar, brown sugar, oil, eggs, and vanilla.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until combined.
  5. In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth.
  6. Fill muffin tins halfway with batter, add a spoonful of cream cheese mixture, then top with remaining batter.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
